GCF South Metro May- July 2010 Bulletin Cover.
After the 6 Week Series “Experience Life Transformation” here comes the “The Master’s Plan of Discipleship “sermon series, and at this time its 10-Week long or 13 including the series breaks. In this series, the congregations are in privilege to hear the sermons and the teachings of Jesus Christ in becoming a disciple.
The style and the look of this cover are somehow new and different compared to my previous designs. I tried to change the style and in a way uplift the design into a more sophisticated, edgy and innovative look. My dominant color for this is light grey that looks like cement and incorporated blue lines to make grids that looks like a floor plan. I included some arrows and key words about the series that gives accent to the grid. I also put images and treated it into a lighter tone to achieve good balance in other elements. As you observed, blue and yellow diagonal elements on the upper left corner of the design were implemented in all of the artwork (bookmark, bulletin, poster, PowerPoint slide).
Moreover, we did the same treatment that we used on the previous series. Every week, the date changes as well as the sermon series number, the preacher and the sermon title.
